To get your alloys looking “new” again, they go through a rigorous process. Dr Alloy only use top quality products as this guarantees quality and long lasting life for the alloy.

Every job for a repair process is different, but this is a rough overview of what it entails:

We remove the wheel(s) from the vehicle

The tyres are deflated and the beads are broken (this means the tyres are pushed back to allow the alloy to be repaired)

Damage to the alloy is repaired using various techniques. This includes using various degrees of sanding media, where ‘chunks’ of the alloy have been damaged metal fillers will be used to repair the profile before being sanded back to match

They are then primed to prevent corrosion and the wheel is then baked under infer- red lighting

We then paint the wheels to the colour of your choice or match them to the existing colour

Once again the wheels are baked under our infer- red lighting and then sprayed with a clear lacquer

They are then baked once more and refitted to your vehicle

A final inspection is then conducted and your vehicle is ready to drive

It’s a comprehensive extensive job, and we put total unrivalled commitment into repairing wheels as we believe it should be done to the highest standard possible. This makes for a quality repair which not only looks as good as new but lasts for the long term.
